Release of Industry Information Paper - Disability Employment Services

14 June 2017

The Department of Social Services has released an Industry Information Paper to inform interested parties about future arrangements for the Disability Employment Services (DES) program, including the establishment of a new panel of DES providers to commence on 1 July 2018. The Industry Information Paper is available from the DSS Engage website.

The Industry Information Paper provides information on the changes to DES and the process that will be followed to establish the new panel of providers, including the need for all interested organisations to lodge a Registration of Interest (ROI) if they wish to be considered to deliver DES in the future. The ROI process will be managed by the DSS Community Grants Hub.

Organisations wishing to register their interest can subscribe to receive a grant alert for the opening of the ROI.  Only those who register their interest will be able to apply for DES through a non-competitive grants round. Current DES providers must register interest if they wish to provide DES under the new arrangements.

Information sessions for people and organisations wishing to deliver DES under the new arrangements will be conducted during June and July 2017 across Australia. You can register your interest to attend an information session via the Engage website.
