Registration of Interest open for a new panel of Disability Employment Services providers

3 August 2017

The Registration of Interest is now closed.

The Australian Government is establishing a new panel of Disability Employment Service (DES) providers to help people with disability find and keep jobs.

Changes to the DES program, including the new panel arrangements, were announced in the May 2017 Budget. The changes aim to improve outcomes for DES participants, providers, and employers alike to help achieve long-term sustainable employment for people with disability.

The Department of Social Services (DSS) is inviting organisations with demonstrated experience in delivering disability and/or employment services or similar to register their interest in delivering Disability Employment Services from 1 July 2018.

Only those organisations that register their interest will then be invited to apply to join the new panel of DES providers through a Grant application process in September 2017. This includes current DES providers, wishing to continue to deliver their services after 30 June 2018.

The registration of interest (ROI) process form is available from the Community Grants Hub from 2 August 2017 until 2pm (AEST), 29 August 2017.

Please note: Information including question and answers may be amended over the course of the Registration of Interest period. It is important to check for any changes on the Community Grants Hub or alternatively register with GrantConnect to receive regular alerts.
