Ambassador for International Day of People with Disability

In early May, The Hon Jane Prentice MP, Assistant Minister for Disability Services announced this year’s Ambassador for International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD). This day is commonly known as IDay and is held on 3rd December.  

 Dylan Alcott was chosen to be the 2017 Ambassador. Ambassadors are appointed on a voluntary basis to use their influence to help raise awareness of the issues faced by people with disability and promote the event celebrations.

Dylan is a paralympian champion, international speaker, disability advocate and radio broadcaster. Dylan uses his enthusiasm, passion and profile to successfully contribute to the improvement of the lives of people with disability.
