2021 Special National Minimum Wage for SWS
30 June 2021On 25 June 2021, the Fair Work Commission issued its annual determination in relation to the Supported Wage System (SWS). The minimum weekly payment has been set at $90.00 effective the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2021. This increase will apply to all modern awards with the SWS clauses from that date.
Award free employees minimum weekly payment can be found in the National Minimum Wage Order, which is also $90.00 and is effective the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2021.
For NPA Assessors, this applies to all new SWS Wage Assessment Agreements from 1 July 2021.
SWS employers, employees and assessors should ensure Wage Assessment Agreements from 1 July 2021 reflect the new minimum wage ($90.00 per week), if applicable.
