Vision Statement of the National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline

The National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline (the ‘Hotline’) has a vision of a socially just, accessible and inclusive community in which the human rights, citizenship, contribution and potential of people with disability are respected.

To this end, the Hotline provides national access for the reporting of abuse and neglect of people with disability and works to promote fair and just treatment of people with disability; to achieve social justice, equality and the same rights, responsibilities, opportunities, access and participation as other people in Australian society.

The Hotline is closely aligned with the Complaints Resolution and Referral Service (CRRS), another Australian Government initiative supporting the needs of people with disability.
