Our job seekers

Jobs Australia Enterprises Ltd is a local, community based not for profit organisation who has had nearly 30 years’ experience delivering employment focused services throughout the New England Northwest Region.

We are a high performing organisation who supports jobseekers move into employment. We understand your needs and will work with you to develop an individualised job plan with clear goals that will support you to undertake a range of activities to help you gain employment.

To help you succeed  we provide you with modern facilities and support from experienced, professional staff that have a genuine interest in your jobsearch success. You're provided with a consultant who is trained to meet your needs and assist in the areas that you need assistance with. Tailored support is offered to Indigenous, Mature aged, parents or people with disabilities through specific workshops. 

We have access to accredited training for our job seekers through our training organisation Altitude Training Solutions. All our training is designed to meet employer’s needs and has been proven to increase employment opportunities for our job seekers.  

We are the only jobactive organisation that hosts a program called New Careers for Aboriginal People which is specifically designed to assist Aboriginal job seekers into employment and training.  We also host the Aboriginal Enterprise Development Officer Program that is specifically designed to assist new and existing business.

We know that developing strong relationships with employers is the key to getting and maintaining jobs for our job seekers. We have marketing consultants who speak the language of employers. They reach out to employers in our local communities to set a pathway to employment for our jobseekers.

  • You will have the benefit of being supported by a local organisation that has nearly 30 years’ experience in helping employers with their recruitment needs in New England and Northwest NSW area and surrounding communities.
  • We are a “one stop shop” offering a complete range of workforce development solutions including jobactive, labour hire services through speediestaffsolutions and training for new and existing staff through our training organisation - Altitude Training Solutions.  
  • Our marketing consultants will engage with you to provide a consistent, high quality, responsive customer service designed to meet your recruitment needs.  
  • We will provide you with information on the full range of Government incentives that support you to employ eligible job seekers.
  • We will undertake a Training Needs Analysis with you so we can develop and deliver training for job seekers that matches the skills and qualifications that you require. 
  • We will develop strategies to keep job seekers in jobs after they have commenced with you. These strategies will be developed to suit yours and the employee’s needs, and will include visits to your workplace. Our structured support will commence within the first two weeks of employment and continue for up to 52 weeks.
  • We will approach you about available jobs for work ready job seekers and are able to negotiate work experience placements.
