Where are we?

TURSA has 49 sites from the Mid-North Coast, NSW to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, and inland to Toowoomba and Gatton.

Our sites are:

1. Disability accessible

2. Close to public transport and local amenities

3. Open 9am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday in NSW & part time in Qld as per our website

4. All sites are equipped with phones, photocopiers and internet facilities that are available for participants to use free of charge

If you are an employer who needs to employ an apprentice or trainee, or a permanent, casual or temporary worker, we can help. 

1. We will supply you with applicants to match your requirements and, even better, save you money with no advertising costs or downtime.

2. TURSA has a proud 30-year history of providing employers with quality services and good workers, and we’re experienced in both individual and bulk recruitment. 

3. TURSA will tailor a solution to meet your needs, and support you and our participants through the transition into employment.  

4. You can interview applicants at our centre if preferred, with privacy and confidentiality assured.

5. If you want to use a labour hire company, or a group training company to provide an apprentice or trainee, we can arrange that.

6. We will organise relevant pre-employment training for our participants, such as necessary WHS cards and First Aid Certificates, at low or no cost.

7. TURSA is also a Registered Training Organisation, offering nationally recognised qualifications in Business, Retail and Hospitality. We would be pleased to discuss training options with you.

8. We will advise you on any wage subsidies that may be available for placing one of our participants, as well as training incentives.

TURSA Employment & Training is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation founded in 1994 for the express purpose of addressing unemployment.  Providing employment services, including training for our clients, is our only business activity.
