Job in Jeopardy assistance


Job in Jeopardy assistance is immediate support to help employees who are at risk of losing their job as a result of disability, injury or health condition. It is available through Disability Employment Services.

An employee or employer may approach your service directly for job in jeopardy assistance.

If an employee or employer approaches Centrelink for job in jeopardy assistance, Centrelink will refer them to the most appropriate service for Job in Jeopardy assistance.

Disability Employment Services

If a person approaches your service directly for Job in Jeopardy assistance and you are a Disability Employment Services provider, you may directly directly register and commence them as a Job in Jeopardy participant if you have assessed them as eligible for assistance. A Job Capacity Assessment or Employment Assistance Assessment is not required to access Job in Jeopardy assistance and the employee does not need to be registered with Centrelink.
