The JobAccess Advisers are a team of friendly and dedicated professionals who provide free, confidential and expert advice on the employment of people with disability.

Hours of operation
The JobAccess Advisers are available across Australia from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 7 pm Australian Eastern Standard time and Eastern Daylight Saving Time as applicable, except for Australian national public holidays.

JobAccess is a free service for all Australians:
- employers and managers
- job seekers and workers with disability
- co-workers of people with disability
- Australian Government employment service providers and private recruitment firms.
Who are the JobAccess Advisers?
One of Australia’s major disability employment organisations, WorkFocus Australia, provides the JobAccess telephone and online advice service.
WorkFocus has 17 years experience in helping employers with their employees with disability. In that time the company has helped over 20 000 employers to manage employees with disability, injuries or health related issues. In 2004-05 alone, WorkFocus’s professionally qualified consultants helped 4500 employees with disability to maintain their job or gain a new job.

JobAccess is an initiative of the Australian Government’s 2005-06 Budget Welfare to Work package which aims to increase workforce participation for those with a capacity to work and includes better supports for employers considering employing people with disability.
