Workplace Modifications Scheme
The Workplace Modifications Scheme pays for the cost of workplace adjustments and modifications for eligible employers of people with disability. You can help employers apply online or apply on their behalf.
Supported Wage System
The Supported Wage System provides productivity based wage assessments for employees with disability who are unable to work at full wage rates. You can now apply online for the Supported Wage System.
Wage subsidies
Information on the various wage subsidies available to increase the competitiveness of people with disability in gaining employment.
Auslan For Employment program
The Auslan For Employment program provides assistance with Australian Sign Language (Auslan) interpreting and training in the workplace. Online applications make applying easy.
Work Based Personal Assistance
Financial help is available to Disability Employment Network members to reimburse costs of Work Based Personal Assistance provided or purchased for eligible job seekers, if they require assistance at work to eat a meal, use the toilet or take medication.
Work Experience Placement program
The Work Experience Placement program meets the cost of work related insurance (personal accident and public liability insurance) for eligible job seekers to help overcome one of the main problems when organising work experience.
Assisting job seekers
It is useful to talk to job seekers about the incentives and supports that are available to their potential employer. If they know about these incentives they can discuss them with the employer during the interview and recruitment process.
