These instructions demonstrate how to log in to the secure site when you wish to view or complete an online Supported Wage System application form. These instructions are for employers and Australian Government employment service providers. These include Disability Employment Network (DEN) members, Job Network Members (JNM) or a Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS).
Step 1
Locate the JobAccess web site by typing www.jobaccess.gov.au into the navigation bar of your web browser.

Step 2
You will be presented with the JobAccess home page. To enter the secure online section of the web site, click on the 'Online application forms' link in the lower right hand corner.

Step 3
Depending on your browser settings, the following alert may appear. Please click ‘ok’ if you wish to continue.

Step 4
The JobAccess Secure Site will appear.

Step 5
If you are using the secure site for the first time, unless you are an existing Australian Government employment service provider, you will need to register to obtain a log in ID.
Australian Government employment sService providers will be able to log in using their current ID and password issued to you for access to other departmental secure sites.
If you already have a log in ID and password, go to step 11.
Note—employees should not register on their employer’s behalf.
Read the ‘Terms and conditions of use’ carefully and then select ‘Register’.

Step 6
Complete all parts of the ‘Registration Page’ by entering your details in the appropriate fields.
If you agree to abide by the terms and conditions, check the box at the bottom of the page that precedes the words ‘I understand that by registering to use…’. You will not be able to proceed if you do not agree.
Password rules
- Make sure you are aware of the following rules when you nominate a password:
- Password must be eight to twenty characters.
- Password must contain four of the following character types: Upper case, lower case, numeric & special characters. Allowable special characters are! @ # % & _ = / < > : ; , { } [ \ ^ $ . | ? * + ( ) ] -
- You cannot reuse an old password. JobAccess will remember the last 20 passwords you created, so you cannot reuse any of these.
You need to wait 48 hours between password changes. You cannot share or reveal your password to anyone.

Step 7
Select ‘Create’ to register, ‘Reset’ to complete the form again or ‘Cancel’ to exit from the form.

Step 8
If you selected ‘Create’, JobAccess will take you back to the 'Information' page of the secure site. A message will be displayed which includes your new log in ID. You will need to remember your log in ID and password each time you visit the secure site.
Please note that the example used here is fictitious.

Step 9
To enter the secure site, select ‘Log in’.

Step 10
The log in page will appear. Enter your log in ID and password. Select ‘Log in’ to proceed or select ‘Cancel’ to start again. If you select ‘Log in’, JobAccess will verify your log in ID and password.

Step 11
If you have entered the correct log in ID and password, you will be presented with a 'Privacy' notice. After reading this notice, select ‘Proceed’ if you wish to continue. Otherwise, select ‘Cancel’.

Step 12
You are now logged in to the JobAccess secure site.

Step 13
If you wish to apply for Supported Wage System, see our instructions for 'Creating a Supported Wage System application' and ‘Using the Supported Wage System application list'.
Step 14
If you have not entered the correct details when logging in, an error message will appear. If you have forgotten your password, return to the 'Information' page where you logged in by clicking on the 'Cancel' button and select ‘Reset password’.
If your account is locked select ‘Unlock account’.
Note—if you are from an Australian Government employment service provider do not use this option without first contacting the administrator in your organisation.

Step 15
If you selected ‘Reset password’ you will be presented with the ‘Reset password page'. Complete all the fields on the ‘Reset password page’, including answering the three challenge questions that will confirm your identity, and select ‘Reset’ to create a new password.

Step 16
If you selected ‘Unlock account’ you will be presented with the 'Unlock' page. Enter your log in ID in the field provided and answer the three challenge questions to confirm your identity. Select 'Unlock'.
Note—if you are from an Australian Government employment service provider do not use this option without first contacting the administrator in your organisation.
