Australian Employers Network on Disability

The Australian Employers Network on Disability works with employers and clients to specifically support the employment of people with disability.

It is a not for profit organisation funded by its members.  The Network assists employers build skills and confidence when employing people with disability or interacting with customers with disability.

Among their many activities they:

• provide information on disability
• hold events that provide knowledge and networking opportunities
• develop customised tools
• assist businesses to implement the Charter for the Employment of People with Disability, to achieve best practice
• help organisations comply with the Disability Discrimination Act
• provide equality training.

Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the peak council of Australian business associations. Its web site provides links to the Chambers of Commerce in each state and territory. These organisations also provide information and networking opportunities for employers who are keen to draw on the labour pool of people with disability to advance their business.

Australian Industry Group

The Australian Industry Group is an Australian industry organisation representing employers in manufacturing, construction, automotive, telecommunications, IT and call centres, transport, labour hire and other industries.

The Australian Industry Group provides advice and assistance to help members run their businesses more effectively and to become more competitive on a domestic and international level. It also holds training courses, seminars and special events.
