Vocational Rehabilitation Services assist people who have a disability, injury or health condition to work independently in the open labour market.
Vocational Rehabilitation Services also directly assist employers to employ a person whose skills and abilities match their job requirements and support the employer and the successful applicant in the new role. Vocational Rehabilitation Services can also assist employees who are already in work but who are experiencing difficulty maintaining employment.
Help and support
As an employer, you can receive a range of assistance from Vocational Rehabilitation Services:

help for employees who are having difficulty managing their injury or disability on the job

job in jeopardy assistance where an employee's job may be at risk due to issues related to their disability, injury or health condition

access to work experience placements that will meet the cost of work-related insurance

Intermittent support
If you have an employee with disability who is placed with your organisation through a Vocational Rehabilitation Service, you may be eligible to receive intermittent support from that service. Intermittent support provides very short term support and assistance to employees while in the workplace.
Job in jeopardy assistance
Job in jeopardy assistance can provide you and your employee with immediate support and assistance to ensure that your employee maintains their job. Job in jeopardy provides vocational rehabilitation services which can include assistance with disability management, workplace assessment, job redesign and workplace adjustment.

Vocational Rehabilitation Services can also assist employers by facilitating access to financial help and wages for employing people with disability, including:
