What service standards to expect

Australian Government employment service providers, such as the Job Network members, are available to provide help and support to employers to of people with disability into employment. If you are receiving assistance from a Job Network member then you can expect and should receive a high level of service.

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations monitors the way employment services are delivered and all of Australian Government employment service providers must meet the standards of service and behaviour set out in the Providers of Australian Government Employment Services Code of Practice and Service Guarantees.

Australian Government employment service providers, including Job Network, must deliver services in a manner that:

  1. upholds the integrity and good reputation of the service
  2. demonstrates a commitment to job seekers
  3. is accurate and relevant
  4. is communicated clearly and effectively
  5. encourages feedback without bias.

Copies of the Australian Government employment service providers Code of Practice are available from your local Job Network member.

Job Network service guarantee

People with disability will receive ongoing personalised employment services provided by their preferred Job Network member. These services will be culturally sensitive to personal circumstances and background as well as tailored both to individual needs and to the job opportunities available.
