The Disability Employment Network is a national network of community and private organisations that provide a help and support to meet the individual needs of employers of people with disability.

Help and support, such as professional recruitment advice, provision of on the job training and support to employees with disability and job in jeopardy assistance, is provided at no cost to employers when they wish to employ a job seeker who is registered with a Disability Employment Network member.

Contacting Disability Employment Network members

You may choose to contact a local Disability Employment Network member directly for assistance, or if you are a large employer you may prefer to access the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator.

Direct contact

If you would like to contact a local Disability Employment Network member directly for assistance, complete a location or postcode search on the Australian JobSearch web site (see Related links).

Access the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator

If you are a large employer and wish to recruit a number of staff, you may wish to access the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator program. The program offers a single point of contact for the recruitment of staff with disability. The provider will work with you to determine the job requirements for people with disability and will contact Disability Employment Network and Vocational Rehabilitation Services providers to identify job seekers with the necessary skills and experience to fill those jobs. It will also provide information about other assistance to help support the employment of job seekers with disability.
