Braille translation software is required to allow for correct formatting and coding for printing by a Braille embosser. With this software, word documents can be scanned and quickly translated into Braille or large print documents and then printed into a Braille document using the embosser.
Types of Braille translation software include:
- basic version for everyday needs
- advanced version with specialist characters and layouts that may be required in some work fields such as those using mathematical or scientific symbols.
