For individuals with visual impairment working in occupations requiring measuring and collection of specific data traditionally taken by a multimeter such as within the automotive industry, transfer to the use of a talking multimeter may assist in ensuring continued accuracy of measurements whilst maintaining productivity (Abledata 1999; Blista-Brailletec (no date specified); KMS Tools & Equipment (no date specified)).
