Coin sorters and counters—talking

Coin sorters and counters can count thousands of coins and sort them into rolled packages or bags. The units are easy to operate and can count one denomination or multiple denominations depending on the unit selected. Some coin sorters and counters can be attached to a Braille Lite for Braille output as well as having an internally installed voice output module.

Workplace solutions and adjustments:

Counting coins can be difficult for people with poor vision, poor dexterity and/or cognitive impairments. Talking coin sorters can enable the person to carry out this task independently (Captek 2008).
