Self care


Part of being successful within the workplace includes maintaining appropriate levels of self care, including addressing personal hygiene, dressing and meal preparation or consumption within the workplace. It can also include management of pressure care, splinting and medications. These tasks may be done independently or with the assistance of a carer.

If self care assistance is required within the workplace, assistance may be available through the work based personal assistance program. Please refer to the following link for eligibility criteria:
