Hours of operation
The JobAccess Advisers are available across Australia from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 7 pm Australian Eastern Standard time and Eastern Daylight Saving Time as applicable, except for Australian national public holidays.
Who can use JobAccess?
JobAccess is a free service for all Australians:
- employers and managers
- job seekers and workers with disability
- co-workers of people with disability
- Australian Government employment service providers and private recruitment firms.
Who are the JobAccess Advisers?
One of Australia’s major disability employment organisations, WorkFocus Australia, provides the JobAccess telephone and online advice service.
WorkFocus has almost 20 years experience in helping employers with their employees with disability. In that time the company has helped over 25 000 employers to manage employees with disability, injuries or health related issues. In 2007—2008 alone, WorkFocus’s professionally qualified consultants helped 6500 employees with disability to maintain their job or gain a new job.
As the administrators of the JobAccess information and advisory service, we have now exceeded the milestone of responding to over 30 000 enquires since commencing in July 2006.
