Some telephones offer the choice of increasing the volume of the call to help you hear the person you are speaking to more clearly. If your phone has a hands free button you should also be able to turn up the volume of these calls. Some phones also include a separate amplification button which means you can boost the volume even more.
Workplace solutions and adjustments
Setting telephone volume controls to a suitable level for a person who is hard of hearing may assist them to be able to use a telephone for work purposes.
