Mobile cranes are cranes that can be driven from one location to another to complete the required lifting tasks. Depending on the model and use requirements, mobile cranes can be used both on and off road with either a tyre or tracked base. Mobile cranes vary in size and can have telescoping or lattice booms which are operated from the vehicle cab.
